This is a recent drone aerial I did from right around home. These fields are my stomping grounds ever since I was a kid. I've spent so many hours in those fields and woods enjoying nature and dreaming. You can see Burton in the far distance if you look closely at the horizon line. You will also see the Burton Village water tower. When I was in High School I would hear the marching band playing at the Friday night football games even though I was over a mile away. I would be in my tree stand and think to myself how I was glad I wasn't around some crowd and enjoying nature. I would daydream of things like meeting some farm girl someday and falling in love with her.
I've been updating a lot of things around home lately that have my priorities set to get done first before much fishing lately! I still have been trying to find time to photograph wildlife and nature around home. Since completing the staining of the deck I decided to put out a hummingbird feeder and enjoy their presence and beauty. Now I just have to try to figure out how to keep the ants from not getting to it!
I make my own inline spinner with flies that I tie a lot to go fishing. I also make them if people order them from me and find it rewarding to help others catch fish. It's fun experimenting with different patterns and this one seemed to be certainly a hit with all the fish on this day! The bluegill were absolutely delicious! The Northern Pike was 25 inches and released to grow bigger.
